  • Consultation with extra-curricular clubs and organizations (i.e. student council, school council, students clubs, summer programs, etc.)
  • Crisis counseling and intervention
  • Special education/504 Plan/SST (Student Study Team) for academic support and referral identification
  • Scheduling and educational planning
  • Regular communication with parents via phone, email, mail, and web site link
  • PSAT administration and evaluation
  • Review ELA and Math MCAS requirements

Grade 11

  • Junior guidance orientation
  • College and career readiness via Naviance
  • College and career fairs
  • College and career site visits
  • Individual counseling and advising especially around college planning, career awareness, standardized testing
  • Large group instructional activities and classroom presentations for college planning and awareness
  • Financial aid nights for parents with college planning presentation
  • Scheduling and educational planning with particular attention paid to student’s college and/or career goals
  • Academic monitoring and advising along with consultation with teachers and parents
  • Outside referrals in collaboration with community organizations where appropriate
  • Crisis counseling and intervention
  • Parent Prom Initiative in collaboration with the Coalition that Cares community organization
  • Special education/504 Plan/SST (Student Study Team) for academic support and referral identification
  • Consultation with extra-curricular clubs and organizations (i.e. student council, school council, students clubs, summer programs, etc.)
  • PSAT/SAT/SAT Subject/ACT tests registration and administration
  • ASVAB administration

  • Individual counseling and advising especially around college planning, career awareness, and standardized testing
  • Large group instructional activities and classroom presentations for college planning and awareness
  • Assistance with college essays, completing and packaging college applications, and creating/editing college list
  • Scholarship Award Night to honor and recognize student achievements
  • Academic monitoring and advising along with consultation with teachers and parents; audit of senior graduation credits and requirements
  • Outside referrals in collaboration with community organizations where appropriate
  • Parent Prom Initiative in collaboration with the Coalition that Cares community organization
