MIT’s Women in Science and Engineering (WISE)

Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) is a free year-long program funded by MIT’s Society of Women Engineers. We hold monthly sessions on campus exploring different careers and fields of science and engineering. Our sessions feature hands-on activities like LED circuits, tours of MIT labs, and speaker panels with current MIT students and professors. The program is intended to help high school girls discover and explore their passion for STEM.

Below is a link to register for WiSE 2019-2020. The application deadline is Friday, September 20 at 11:59 PM. Acceptance to WiSE is on a lottery basis, and participants will be notified by September 23rd. Our sessions this semester are on the following Saturdays ( 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM ): Sept 28, Oct 26, Nov 16.
