Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s ( M.I.T. ) Leadership Training Institute ( L. T. I. )

My name is Jose Aceves, and I am writing to let you know about the Leadership Training Institute, a mentorship program for high school students that focuses on developing leadership skills. The group was founded by and is run by undergraduate students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The program runs weekly during the spring semester, and focuses on teaching students the fundamentals of leadership and supplying them with the tools to make a difference in their own communities.

We are currently recruiting students for our program this upcoming spring, and are hoping you could notify students about the program — particularly those students who have demonstrated strong leadership potential, self-motivation, passion for learning, and capability to overcome adversity apply. If you could pass along information about LTI to any school announcements, emails, or newspapers you feel are appropriate, we would greatly appreciate it. Regular applications are due on November 22nd, but we are extending our deadline to December 1st. Applications can be found here.

We would love to provide you with more information about LTI! Feel free to browse our website (lti.mit.edu) or email us (lti-exec@mit.edu) for additional details about the program. We are also available to talk with you more about the program in person or by phone.

We look forward to applications from your students!

Best,
Jose Aceves
