P-EBT Cards
Families have recently begun receiving P-EBT cards in the mail. However, we have heard that there has been some confusion around activating the card. Please share the below information with families in your school or district to help them correctly set up their P-EBT cards.
To Activate Your P-EBT Card
- Call the phone number on the back of the card: Massachusetts’ EBT Hotline, (800) 997-2555.
- Create a PIN: Enter your P-EBT card number. It will then prompt you to enter the last 4 digits of your social security number – do not enter the last 4 digits of your social security number. Instead, enter the last 4 digits of your child’s case number that was provided on the letter you got in the mail. Then enter the child’s date of birth (using the 2 digit month + 2 digit day + 4 digit year. Example: 04/06/2005)
- If you did not receive a letter in the mail from DTA or you lost your letter, call Project Bread’s FoodSource Hotline (800) 645-8333.
