ASVAB (for Juniors & Seniors)
JUNIORS & SENIORS ONLY
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple choice test administered by the United States Military and used to determine qualification for enlistment in the United States Armed Forces. The ASVAB is also administered at American high schools to help students identify academic strengths and weaknesses, in addition to career paths that may interest students as they apply to colleges or directly enter the workforce. There are nine sections of the ASVAB ranging from 10 minutes to 36 minutes. Students will be tested in the following areas: general science, arithmetic reasoning, word knowledge, paragraph comprehension, mathematics knowledge, electronics information, automotive and shop information, mechanical comprehension, assembling objects, and verbal expression. If you are interested in taking the ASVAB, have your parents/guardians complete the below permission slip and return it to Mr. Wilkins by 8:00 AM, Friday, October 9, 2021.
