Carol Whynott Memorial Scholarship

Carol Whynott, RN was a pediatric nurse her entire professional year. She initially followed her dream and became an LPN and then continued her education at North Shore Community College and became a registered nurse.
Carol worked at North Shore Children’s Hospital, she was a school nurse and for 25 years worked at Pediatric Health Care Associated in Peabody. She was a fierce advocate for children and their parents. She was especially devoted to families with a special needs child and helped to navigate the health care system for them.
Carol lost her courageous battle with cancer in 2021. Her friends and colleagues have set up a memorial scholarship in her name to be awarded to a student pursuing a nursing education.
