Francesca Simone Galeazzi Scholarship

Francesca Simone Galeazzi ended her journey in life on March 8th, 2022 at the age of 25 after a courageous battle with her mental health. To all who knew and loved her, she was our “Franki”. She was an amazing daughter, sister, friend, social worker, student and athlete. Franki was truly gifted beyond her years in all areas of her life. She had one speed and it was fast: Franki gave everything she had until her very last day and she still continues to shine through all who adored her. Although Franki was a Lynn Classical Ram, Class of 2014 through and through, her impact and light will not end there. Franki has created hope and change all over the world, especially in Kenya. This year, a one-time scholarship will be awarded to a Lynn English female-student-athlete in loving memory of Francesca and the legacy she left behind:

This essay should be no longer than 500 words expressing why you want to help others and what has motivated you to gravitate to the helping profession. Greater consideration will be given to a female-student athlete with a GPA higher than a 3.0, played at least one of Francesca’s three high school varsity sports: Soccer, Basketball and/or Softball and anticipates majoring in a helping field (example: Social Work, Human Services, Teaching, Nursing, Criminal Justice, etc.)
