The Haven Project’s “Sleep Out” Event

November is “Youth Homelessness Awareness” month, and to recognize this, The Haven Project in Lynn will be hosting its first annual virtual “Sleep Out” event on November 30th. Its goal is to help our communities, families, educators, child welfare professionals, policy makers and advocates better understand the homeless youth crisis by raising awareness. Anyone can join this event by signing up on our website (either alone or as part of a larger team). The first 100 registrants get a t-shirt! All proceeds of this event will benefit the 300 young people we serve every year. The Haven Project helps 17-24-year-olds who are unaccompanied and housing unstable by offering the supports and stabilization services they need to succeed.
