The Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Lynn (UUCGL) is pleased to invite high school seniors attending the public schools in Swampscott and Lynn who have been accepted at post-secondary institutions to apply for college scholarship funding.

The scholarships will be awarded to the applicants who have demonstrated their commitment to community service, social justice and to leadership. Need and merit will be taken into consideration by the committee. All students are encouraged to apply.

An Essay, a resume, a transcript and SAI/EFC info are REQUIRED: Please include in your essay a little about your family, your goals and the activities that demonstrate your commitment to community service, social justice, and leadership. Your resume should include your work history, School Activities/Clubs, Awards/Honors, Extracurricular activities, and Community Involvement/Service.

Please also include: Your official high school transcript, any Financial Aid information (Just the Student Aid Report, from FAFSA and not the entire document), and the Financial Aid Award Letter from the college where you will attend. Please Note; we cannot fully and fairly evaluate your application without all of this information.

Applications are due to your School Guidance Office by Thursday, April 24, 2025.
