Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps Marine Option Scholarship
FOR SENIORS
The Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) Marine Option allows those with a fighting spirit the opportunity to earn a commission in the United States Marine Corps as they complete their studies at a participating college or university. If they rise to the challenge, they may become officers of the Marine Corps.
Scholarship Benefits
- Full tuition at one of the listed colleges or universities (unless room and board is elected as the preferred scholarship benefit instead of tuition and fees).
- All mandatory fees imposed by the School on all full-time undergraduate students.
- Stipend for text books
- Currently $750 per academic year ($375 per semester or $250 per quarter)
- Provide uniforms and Naval Science textbooks
- Three summer cruises
- Subsistence allowance each academic month:
- Freshmen – $250/month
- Sophomore – $300/month
- Junior – $350/month
- Senior – $400/month
