Fidelity Scholars Program

FOR SENIORS

The Scholarship

Bachelor’s degree recipients may be funded for up-to four years of study.

As a need-based scholarship, the amount of financial support provided will depend on the cost of attendance determined by the in-state college or university in which you are enrolling. This is a last-dollar approach. That means your scholarship funds will only be applied after your family contribution and all other financial aid sources have been granted, greatly reducing the need for you to take out loans and incur educational debt related to the cost of attendance.

Last year, the Fidelity Scholars Program awarded more than $2.85 million scholarships to 200 students.

Eligibility

The program is open to historically under-resourced and underrepresented students who are permanent residents of Colorado, the District of Columbia, Florida, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island and Texas.
• 2.5 – 3.5 unweighted GPA or GED
• Pell eligible and/or demonstrate financial need
• Attend an in-state college or university

Lance Corporal Bradley J. Campus, USMC Memorial Scholarship Program

FOR SENIORS

The purpose of the program is to provide scholarships in Bradley’s name to students in the public school
system in their senior year of high school who will be attending a state or nationally accredited college or
university in the fall of 2025 or have joined the U.S. Armed Forces during their senior year in high school.

These scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit, an original essay, awards and
recognition, and extracurricular and community service activities. Consideration will be given to those
eligible applicants from all Lynn public high schools. Applications and all supporting materials must be
received (hard copies) or emailed by Friday, 28 March 2025 by 5:00 EST and will be reviewed by the LCpl
Bradley Campus Memorial Scholarship Committee. This year we will award three (3) scholarships – each
scholarship will be in the amount of $1,000.00.

Bradley J. Campus was born in Lynn, MA on February 15, 1962. He attended Lynn English High School,
and upon graduation, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps. While stationed overseas, he was thinking about
the next stage of his life, and goals he had. Bradley desired to open his own bakery in the North End of
Boston after serving in the military.

Unfortunately, his dreams never came true, because on 23 October 1983 Bradley was killed in the Beirut
bombing by two (2) suicide bombers who drove a truck into the Marine Barracks. Lance Corporal
Bradley Campus was one (1) of 241 American service members that were killed on that day.

Bradley was known as a person who possessed the qualities of kindness, integrity, dedication,
dependability, loyalty, sincerity, seriousness, humor, independence, and was an overall intelligent young
man.
We are called to honor our veterans, and the Committee is honored to be able to offer this scholarship in
his name.
