The Dr. Philip Joseph Emmerman Memorial Scholarship is for a Lynn English senior who plans to attend Salem State University. Preference will be given to those Lynn English seniors who plan to pursue a Nursing degree or who are a member of the MCJROTC. If you meet this criteria, please email Mr. Wilkins at wilkinsm@lynnschools.org. You MUST attend Salem State University.

The North Shore Players, a Danvers-based community theatre company, announces its annual memorial scholarship award. The scholarship was originally established to honor the memory of Viola J. Patten, a multi-talented member of the North Shore Players. It was changed in 1994 to include the departed and beloved founding members Barbara Hannon and Polly Jenkins. This scholarship will be granted to a graduating senior who plans to major in the performing arts(theatre, music, art, or dance) and is currently attending Andover, Beverly, Danvers, Georgetown, Hamilton-Wenham Regional, Lynn Classical, Lynn English, Lynnfield, Marblehead, Masconomet, North Andover, Peabody, Salem, or Swampscott High School.
If the applicant has been a member of the North Shore Players, or a parent of the applicant has been a member of the North Shore Players for at least the past 2 years, then the applicant may be a senior at any accredited high school.
The North Shore Players Memorial Scholarship Committee reserves the right to hold the scholarship over until the following year if there is no appropriate candidate.

All applicants must meet the criteria outlined in the scholarship application.
Applications must be accompanied by:
1. A letter of reference from school teacher, administrator, adviser, etc.
2. A letter of recommendation from someone outside of the school.
3. A copy of the high school transcript.
4. A 250-word essay on the choice of major, including the reason.
The application must be submitted by April 15, 2026. The scholarship is $1,000 (or more).

The Spada Law Group Scholarship Fund is an annual award of $1,000 to 5 graduating seniors within the 10 cities selected (see below). The scholarship awards are intended to help students who have overcome a significant challenge in their lives and have continued to achieve success in school and in life. To be considered for the Spada Law Group Scholarship applicants must submit an essay of between 800-1,000 words describing a significant challenge they have faced in their lives, how they overcame such challenge and what they have learned in the process.
Len Spada and the team at Spada Law Group believe that everyone should be given the opportunity to thrive, especially those who have faced hardships at an early age. The $1,000 award is unrestricted and may be used for tuition, room and board, books, etc.

The Charging our Future engineering scholarship is a comprehensive program that combines financial support with a paid, hands-on summer internship to prepare students for impactful careers in the energy sector. This opportunity is designed for engineering students pursuing a bachelor’s degree who demonstrate financial need.
Recipients will gain practical engineering experience in the energy sector, build professional networks, and develop technical skills that connect classroom learning to industry practice. While all engineering students are eligible to apply, priority will be given to applicants with a concentration in power systems engineering or coursework in power systems.
National Grid will provide 10 scholarships annually, 5 for New York residents, and 5 for Massachusetts residents.
This scholarship is designed as a package deal—financial support plus a hands-on internship—to provide real-world experience and build a career in the energy sector.

This award is open to students who identify as LGBTQ+ or are allies, currently in their final year at a Massachusetts public high school, and intending to pursue further education at an accredited institution post-graduation.
The Commission strongly encourages applications from students whose intersecting identities and lived experiences place them at heightened risk of systemic barriers to accessing and persisting in higher education.

The Governing Committee is pleased to announce the 28th Annual Lynn Housing Authority & Neighborhood Development (LHAND) scholarship program. To qualify you must be a Lynn resident. In addition, you must be enrolled in a two or four-year degree program or an alternative career pathway. Please be advised that Charles Gaeta, Executive Director, has the discretion to give a special award to a participant that may not have been chosen by the Scholarship Selection Committee. Scholarship awards will be considered in each of the following categories:

John Calder, a Lynn native and graduate of Dom Savio High School and Framingham State College, died tragically in 1990, at the age of 28, while vacationing in New Hampshire. This scholarship was established in 1994 to honor his memory.

The Hagan Scholarship provides $2,000 to help purchase essential items for college, up to $7,500 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters, workshops to learn important life skills not typically covered in the college curriculum, HSF Schwab Brokerage Account to manage to learn how to invest, and up to $8,000 to study and travel abroad.
Hagan Scholars who graduate while in the Hagan Scholarship Program can apply for a Hagan Graduate Scholarship, good for up to four additional consecutive semesters to attend graduate school or first two years of a professional program, receiving up to $7,500 each semester.
Recipients of a scholarship will be selected on an objective and non-discriminatory basis, regardless of applicant’s race, creed, color, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or sex.
